Update

I haven't blogged for awhile, and really that is just because the same things go through my mind everyday that I really don't care to remember in the future, such as;

-when is our furniture going to sell so we can get our house up for rent
-why won't our agent rent our house out furnished
-do we really have to sell our wonderful life-altering couches for so cheap
-wow..they finally sold
-why hasn't our house sold yet, I don't want to have to rent it out
-October is a few days away and we still haven't sold or rented our house
-I could be in Cabo San Lucas next week if it wasn't for our house
-Why did we decide to buy a house again?

You get the idea.

So yes...we could be in Cabo next week, living on a beach, but instead we have to sweat out our house selling or renting out to possible psychos that could destroy the place.

That's the update.

Random Funness

Okay, I'm over my depressing increase of age. We've been having some fun!

First of all, my parents have an incredible garden here, and I have learned so much. In another life I'm guessing I was raised on a small Tuscan farm harvesting vidalia onions, roma tomatoes, and grapes, in the midst of tall beautiful happy sunflowers.

Isn't she beautiful...she is at least 13 ft tall

These were all harvested by yours truly.
Growing your own vegetables...wow, I never thought veggies could taste so good.

So before tennis yesterday morning, the deer stopped by for a visit. And this momma and baby have gotten so use to us, they just do their thing while we do ours. I'm determined to have them eating out of my hand before we leave here next month. Right now, they just stare at me, with a very curious look in their eye.

What was really cool, was when we came back from tennis about 3 hours later...they were still there, laying underneath the apple tree relaxing. So we all ate lunch outside with them. It was so sweet.

As for my birthday dinner...we went to Bella Italiano in Brookings, OR. Holy crap...best Italian food in the U.S. It ranks right up there with Salvatore's in Mexico. I got to wear my birthday present...an adorable crochet trimmed flutter sleeved top from Victoria's Secret. You can't see it in this picture, but it is awesome. Thanks Spencer!!

Turning 29

is depressing.

And I don't want to hear from anyone out there older than 29 saying...'WHAT? YOU'RE STILL SO YOUNG!' Of course I am...to you. But be honest, you know you have gotten to some birthdays where you feel like you are crossing over lines and borders of when you consider yourself at a young or old age. Well, I think 29 is mine. Technically, I'm already 30 years old....You don't turn 1 the day you enter this world. You turn 1 after you have already been here 12 whole months. So, yeah, I might has well be 30. And I just still remember being a 5 year old who when she would ask how old someone was and there was a number 3 or more as the first digit in a double digit number, I immediately tuned them out and just referred to them as old. grrrrr.......

But thanks be to my loving family and friends who left me numerous happy birthday wishes and cards. Love you all. However, only chocolate fudge ice cream, blueberry muffins, and chicken divan can spin me out of this turning 29 depression.
Bring on the food
