Spencer is coming home!

Spencer has been gone for 2 weeks now, and I am at my wits end! Thank goodness my mom came to visit! She has been so much fun to play with. Unless of course she is killing me at tennis!!

DON'T DO IT!

I got free screening passes to this trash this last Monday night. DO NOT GO SEE THIS MOVIE! It's not funny while being incredibly offensive. The highlight of the evening was sharing the theater with a contestant on a future "Bachelorette" season.

Seriously, one of the worst movies I have seen all year. Should not have been rated PG-13.

It's a Beautiful Day

And NOT just because of the weather. I finally finished my semester project at 2pm today. It's at least 30 pages of intense, well-researched law concepts. To celebrate, instead of eating food, I have decided to start rewarding myself with exercise....yeah, when I start failing everything subconsciously, that will have to change. Anyway, I went for a jog at Beatty Park. As I open my front door to leave what do I find on my front porch??

The IPod touch

Spencer had gotten 6th place in an international internet marketing sales competition. We thought we had 1st place in the bag...(a brand new mercedes). Alas, I'll take the IPod touch. Now, I can put my free download of the Twilight movie to GOOD use.

WHY?

Why is it that when I am employed and have to wake up at 7 am, as soon as my alarm goes off I feel like I could sleep for an extra 2-3 hours? Even on the weekends when I don't HAVE to get up, I can still make it to at least 8:30.

So why? Why is it that now that I am unemployed, I can't sleep past 3 am?

Easter Weekend

We had a GREAT time up in DC this weekend with Matty and JZ.
Seriously, so.much.fun!

Spencer gave Theodore Roosevelt a piggy back ride...

In a group effort, we won the Ironman Competition.

Spencer got into a fight with Mike Tyson...and won.

And we even time traveled back to the year 1958 to the opening of the famous
"Ben's Chili Bowl"!!

Don't you just love that centerpiece!! Jeanette planted Alfalfa in this dish about a week ago, and then laid her painted wooden eggs on top. She's so darn creative.

This was obviously taken after eating at the Chili Bowl. ;)

And I didn't get any pictures of the intense Cities and Knights games we played. That is such a fun game!! Matt was victorious as usual. But I DID get on the winner board for Rummy and California Speed.
